Why you should join us to 'read the Bible in a year'!

Updated: Dec 28, 2022

As the New Year approaches, it's a great time to reflect on our lives and consider how we can grow and improve in the year ahead. If you're someone who is looking to strengthen your faith and deepen your understanding of the Bible, then making a commitment to test the Bible in a year could be a powerful and meaningful New Year's resolution.

Reading and studying the Bible can bring us closer to God and help us better understand His Word. The Bible is a complex and multi-faceted book, and reading it can provide a wealth of knowledge and understanding about the Christian faith. Whether you are seeking to learn more about God, Jesus, and the teachings of the Bible, or simply want to deepen your spiritual understanding, testing the Bible in a year can be a rewarding and enriching experience.

Here at New Hope, we encourage everyone to go through the same Bible reading plan together as one family starting at the new year as a way to grow in our faith and understanding of God's Word. We believe that reading and studying the Bible is an essential part of our spiritual journey, and we want to support and encourage one another as we seek to grow closer to God.

In addition, to help kick off this journey, we will be starting a new sermon series on January 8th called "In Case of Emergency." This series will focus on how to read the Bible, give an overview of the Bible's story, and provide practical tips for studying and understanding the text. Whether you're a seasoned Bible reader or new to the faith, we believe this series will provide valuable insights and guidance as you seek to test the Bible in a year.

So, if you're looking for a resolution that can have a lasting impact on your life, consider joining us as we read the Bible in a year. This can be a valuable and enriching experience that helps you grow in your faith and understanding of the Bible. Remember, you don't have to go it alone - we will be here to support and encourage you as you embark on this journey. May God bless you as you seek to grow closer to Him in the year ahead!
