Partnering with Branching Out (Chandler, AZ)

This year, New Hope is honored to partner with Branching Out, a foster-care support organization serving families across Chandler and the East Valley. Branching Out exists to encourage, equip, and strengthen foster, kinship, and adoptive families by meeting tangible needs and providing community support. These families have opened their homes to vulnerable children—many navigating trauma, instability, and major life transitions.

Every tag on our Giving Tree represents a real child or foster family that Branching Out is actively supporting. By choosing a tag, you’re stepping into their story and helping carry the load this Christmas season.

How the Giving Tree Works

1. Grab a tag from the Giving Tree in the lobby.

2. Purchase the gift(s) listed on the tag.

3. Return the unwrapped gifts with the tag attached.
   

Important Dates

Last Sunday (December 7) to Pick Up a Tag and to Drop Off Gifts:

If you can’t return the gift this Sunday, you may still drop it off during office hours (Monday–Thursday, 9 AM–3 PM). Please bring all items to the church office so Branching Out can pick them up on time.

Why This Matters

Pastor Ken as well as numerous families have adopted and fostered children in our foster care system. Foster families often shoulder emotional and financial challenges few people ever see. By participating in the Giving Tree, you’re doing more than buying a gift you’re reminding a child that they are seen, valued, and loved, and you’re encouraging the family caring for them.

This is an opportunity for our church to live out the love of Jesus in a way that is practical, compassionate, and deeply needed.
